Great screenplays are about authentic, transformative change, and yet many screenwriters don’t understand how real change happens. We idolize the mythic super-heroes who single-handedly, miraculously create change by the sheer force of their will despite the odds against them. But from a “systems perspective”, this is the least effective way to change anything. Don’t Slay the Dragon offers a revolutionary new framework for story design beyond the “Hero’s Journey”.
